Development/Fundraising Summer Intern
CLA seeks a motivated and creative volunteer to assist in fundraising and marketing for 10 weeks over the summer. The Development Volunteer will focus on fundraising, as well as enhancing CLA's social media content. The Volunteer's activities will primarily include grant research and writing, and content creation for social media platforms. Secondary activities include maintaining or updating CLA’s website as well as supporting the development of CLA’s internal workflow and communication procedures. The ability to translate content into a second language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
Summer Legal Internships
CLA seeks a motivated first- or second-year law student to serve as our Summer Legal Volunteer. The ideal candidate understands CLA's mission and has a passion for social justice and an interest in pursuing a public interest legal career. Fluency in a second language, especially Spanish, is preferred, but not required. An interest in immigration law is a plus. CLA’s Summer Legal Volunteer will get substantial hands-on experience and will conduct legal research and writing, assist with client intakes and casework, and participate in Know-Your-Rights legal presentations. CLA is happy to work with your school for credit fulfillment.
