Nicaraguan and Honduran TPS Re-Registration

 

On December 15, 2017, USCIS announced that holders of TPS from Nicaragua and Honduras should re-register in order to maintain their status and work authorization.

  • Re-registration applications for both countries must be filed with USCIS by 2/13/18.

  • Re-registration requires the filing of both USCIS Form I821 and USCIS Form I765.

  • For people who re-register, Honduran TPS status and work authorizations (EADS) will be extended through July 5, 2018.

  • For people who re-register, Nicaraguan TPS status and work authorizations (EADS) will be extended through January 5, 2019.
